The Danish Namahage Association offers authentic Namahage performances, where we invade your event and make sure there are no lazy people, naughty or disrespectful children, and evil spirits. We come in full costume and equipped with all the tools of the Namahage art.
Would you like to learn more about Namahage or become Namahage yourself? We are always eager to share our knowledge of this unique culture from Northern Japan. You can also be Namahage yourself at your own event, if you have the courage!

A performance can be adapted to both large and small events. We provide costumes, masks, and all necessary equipment. We can also offer a brief presentation about the history and background of the Namahage tradition, giving your audience a richer understanding of the ritual.
